Former Paris goalkeeper, Jérome Alonzo, applauded Luis Enrique for the work he has already been able to accomplish at Paris SG.
PSG is still in the race for a historic treble this season. A brilliant career and obviously Luis Enrique has something to do with the results obtained by the Ile-de-France residents. After having suffered numerous criticisms, the Spanish coach is starting to collect compliments.
“Luis Enrique knows where he wants to go”
This Wednesday, Jérôme Alonzo praised him for his work. “For the moment, the season is successful. He opted for a risky management line. Mbappé’s management can blow you in the face. But he succeeded. And yesterday, there was a tactical move, players against employment. He set a framework at least. You like the coach or you don’t like it, a collective framework, that’s what PSG was sorely lacking.”
Asked to judge the Parisians’ play this season, the former goalkeeper confided: “Something is happening. I don’t like Luis Enrique’s football, but something is happening. He knows where he wants to go.”
Now it remains for Enrique to confirm the good work done and go for the trophy that PSG is missing so much, namely the Champions League.
