The French women’s team knows its three opponents for qualifying for Euro 2025, which will take place in Switzerland.

This Tuesday, at the beginning of the afternoon, the draw for the qualifiers for the 2025 European Women’s Championship was held in Switzerland. The French team was not spoiled by fate since it inherited an extremely tough group.

Placed in hat 1 of League A, Hervé Renard’s daughters will have to do battle with England, Sweden and Ireland. “It’s a big challenge that awaits us to try to obtain this qualification before the start of the Olympic Games. League A: composition of groups

  • Group 1: Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Finland
  • Group 2: Spain, Denmark, Belgium, Czechia
  • Group 3: FranceEngland, Sweden, Republic of Ireland
  • Group 4: Germany, Austria, Iceland, Poland

Wendie Renard and her teammates will begin these qualifiers between April 3 and 9, 2024, to conclude them in July if they obtain their ticket directly or in the fall if they have to compete in the play-offs. Les Bleues will have to finish among the first two teams in their group of four in League A in order to be directly qualified for the final phase of the Euro.
