Georgina Rodriguez has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo will retire in one or two years.

The Portuguese superstar’s girlfriend was filmed during Paris Fashion Week and admitted that Ronaldo will finally hang up his boots in 2025 or 2026. Ronaldo turned 39 last month, but he’s still in great shape and scoring at a breakneck pace for club and country.

The Al Nassr star has scored 54 goals in 2023, more than any other player in world football and two more than Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé. He also continues to be prolific for the Portugal national team, scoring 10 goals in nine matches in 2023 for his country, which helped them qualify for Euro 2024. Ronaldo will lead his country to the Euro in Germany this summer, 20 years after his first European Championship at Euro 2004, where he reached the final.

When will Ronaldo retire?

“Cristiano: one more year, and then it’s over. Maybe two, I don’t know”, Georgina said. During his career, Ronaldo scored 749 goals in 1,005 club appearances. He also scored 128 goals in 205 appearances for Portugal, making him his country’s top scorer, as well as being the all-time top scorer in the Champions League.

Ronaldo is a legend of Sporting Lisbon, Man Utd, Real Madrid, Juventus and Portugal. He has won a large number of individual and team honors during his career, including three Premier Leagues, two La Ligas, two Scudetti, five Champions Leagues and one European Nations Championship.
