Barca have made a decision for Cancelo

FC Barcelona has just made a definitive choice regarding the future of its Portuguese full-back, Joao Cancelo.

Joao Cancelo, on loan from Manchester City to Barça, impressed the club’s leaders. Discussions are underway for the Lusitanian to continue his adventure at the Nou Camp, even if Xavi will no longer be in office next season.

According to the media TMW, Barça now plans to permanently recruit the Portuguese international and to do so at an unbeatable price. Barca hope to reach an agreement worth around 15 million euros.

Barça wants to get Cancelo for a bargain price

Cancelo is in the final 18 months of his contract with City. It is not certain that the Sky Blues will agree to give it up for this price. Especially since they bought it for 65 million euros in 2019.

This season, Cancelo is the 6e player most used by Xavi for the Blaugrana (2243 minutes and 29 matches). He also has 3 goals scored and 4 assists offered.
