All good for Caen

Stade Malherbe carried out the good operation of the day in Ligue 2 this Saturday.

The Caennais won in Pau (2-3), signing a second success in a row which, combined with Grenoble’s defeat in Bastia (1-0), allows them to move into fifth position, synonymous with the play-offs.

At the same time, Rodez, seventh, missed the mark in front of Bordeaux, joining in added time to share the points (2-2). Amiens, one point behind RAF, also drew at Laval (1-1).

Laval therefore remains third with three units more than Saint-Etienne, neutralized earlier in the day by Paris FC (0-0) – one length behind a SCO which on Monday will host Ajaccio. Perched in control with six more points, Auxerre is also content with a draw this Saturday, ahead of Valenciennes (0-0).
