Ronaldo, a costly suspension

Suspended for having made gestures deemed obscene against opposing supporters, Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to play this Thursday with Al-Nassr.

Opposed this evening to Al-Hazem, as part of the 22e day of the Saudi Pro League, the Riyadh club had to settle for a draw in the absence of its leader.

A score of 4-4 concluded the spectacular debates, Al-Hazem having each time responded to Al-Nassr’s achievements – a hat-trick from Talisca and a final goal from Mané in added time (90e+4 on penalty). Until equalizing at 99e minute !

At the finish, the result is infuriating and penalizing for CR7’s teammates, who remain six lengths behind the leader in the ranking, Al-Hilal, with one more match on the clock. A real setback after six consecutive victories in the championship.
