Loaned by Tottenham until the end of the season, the English defender, whose contract with Spurs ends next June, had an option to extend his adventure in Germany for another year.
Well The Athletic tells us that Dier has fulfilled all the criteria for the option to be exercised automatically. The latter will therefore now be linked to Bayern until June 2025, once his contract with Tottenham ends at the end of the season. As a reminder, the Munich residents paid €4 million for the player’s loan.
