Youth League: Nantes in quarters, Lens eliminated

FC Nantes secured their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Youth League this Wednesday. Not RC Lens.

Coming from the play-offs, the young people of Nantes have not finished their European journey this season. This Wednesday, the Canaries defeated Salzburg in Austria thanks to a goal from Diockoumalang Gomes (1-0, 19^e).

A victory which allows them to reach the quarter-finals of the U19 European Cup, with the reception in Copenhagen in two weeks on the menu.

The Lensois, on the other hand, stalled at the eighth stage, barred on penalties by Olympiakos (2-2, 4 tab to 2). With all the more regret that the young Sang et Or led 0-2 in Piraeus thanks to Ayanda Sishuba and Rayan Fofana.
