FA Cup: Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool in the quarters

The favorites held their place this Wednesday in the round of 16 of the FA Cup.

At home, Chelsea defeated Leeds (3-2), thanks to Jackson, Mudryk and a goal from Gallagher in the last minute of regulation time when the visitors saw Joseph score a double.

A little later in the evening, Manchester United defeated Nottingham Forest (0-1), with a single goal from Casemiro at the end of the game (89e). Wolverhampton for their part got the better of Brighton (1-0), with a goal from Lemina at the start of the match (2e).

Finally Liverpool did not tremble against Southampton, winning 3-0 in a youthful configuration thanks to a goal from Koumas and a double from Danns. The Reds thus join the Red Devils for an explosive quarter of the Cup. Chelsea will face Leicester; Wolverhampton to Coventry. The last ticket for the semi-finals will be played between Manchester City and Newcastle.
