A week ago, Bayern Munich announced their separation from Thomas Tuchel at the end of the 2023-24 season. The German technician returned to this choice at a press conference shortly afterwards. He explained that he did not blame the players and was very motivated to finish the year in style. This Wednesday, Bild made additional revelations about TT’s departure. Indeed, the German media revealed what he said to his men in the locker room when discussing the end of his collaboration with the Bavarians.
“There will be no more discussions every week, everyone knows that. We can still achieve something, we must win. (…) Everyone can now show up to get noticed by the new coach”, he declared, he who therefore wants to motivate the troops with the future coach. Which was surprising. For his part, Jan-Christian Dreesen (CEO) warned the players: “We will now look at everything very closely. You are responsible!” Tuchel is not the only culprit in the eyes of management.
