Kylian Mbappé is invited to the Elysée this Tuesday for a dinner with Emmanuel Macron, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Sheikh Tamim ben Hamad Al-Thani, which could seal his future.
The Kylian Mbappé soap opera continues to hit the headlines. While Real Madrid seems to be the preferred destination for the player at the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain next June, a dinner at the Elysée this Tuesday evening could change the situation.
Invited by President Emmanuel Macron, the French striker will meet Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim ben Hamad Al-Thani, respectively president and owner of the capital club.
A final offensive from PSG?
Officially, the meeting will focus on the conflict between Israel and Hamas, with Qatar playing a major role in negotiations for a ceasefire and the release of hostages. But it’s a safe bet that Mbappé’s future will also be on the agenda for discussions.
It remains to be seen if the President of the Republic will try to convince the former Monegasque again to stay in Paris, as during his extension in 2022, and if an exceptional new contract will be offered to him. This dinner at the Elysée could be a turning point for the future of Bondyn crack.
