Luis Enrique, even worse than Galtier?

Like his predecessor Christophe Galtier, Luis Enrique is not spared from criticism. Christophe Dugarry even seems to prefer the French technician to the Spaniard.

During the 2022-2023 financial year, Paris Saint-Germain experienced one of its worst seasons, if not the worst, since its takeover by Qatar Sports Investments in 2011. Even if the capital club had won the eleventh French championship title in its history, Christophe Galtier did not survive the shipwreck, being replaced by Luis Enrique.

According to Christophe Dugarry, the Spanish technician is not doing any better than his predecessor. “Is he doing better than Galtier? Has a player progressed since his arrival? Is the club playing better than with Galtier? Obviously not. I find that Luis Enrique is completely off base from the start. He is provocative. He has an oversized ego,” judged the sports consultant on RMC.

Mbappé, “the perfect fuse”

The exit of the Parisian number 7, during the second half of the match against Stade Rennais, would be the straw that broke the camel’s back. “Rather than assuming that he still hasn’t found the right formula, he’s going to grab Kylian Mbappé. I feel like that. Your team is still not good and there you have the perfect fuse, you take out Kylian Mbappé”protests the 1998 world champion.

After the group stage of the Champions League, from which PSG laboriously extricated itself, Luis Enrique promised that his team would be better in February. For the moment, the improvement in terms of play is clearly not significant.
