Since his departure from Real Madrid in 2021, Zinedine Zidane is still free from any contract. Obviously, his three consecutive Champions Leagues between 2016 and 2018 and his two Spanish Champion titles in 2017 and 2020 caught the eye of the major European teams, he who had been cited at PSG and recently at Juventus Turin or Manchester United. On the selection side, Algeria had also opened the door to him, but Zizou had decided to kindly refuse the Fennecs’ proposal.

Recently, we also learned that the former number 10 of the Blues was on Bayern Munich’s shortlist to replace Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season. But the German media quickly made it known that he would not join the Bavarian club. Time is therefore starting to be long for Zinedine Zidane, he who has waited a long time to see the doors of the French team open, but that quickly cooled after the extension of Didier Deschamps at the head of the tricolors until in 2026, in January 2023.

Zinedine Zidane wants to coach

Asked by bein Sportsduring the Superbowl in the United States, he had recently affirmed his desire to return to the sidelines. “It’s always my goal to become a coach again. Now, I’m taking more time to do something else, that’s all.”, he explained. But that’s not all, since the ex-Real Madrid manager has just opened the door to a new destination this Monday.

Present at the presentation of the biographical documentary on Marcello Lippi, Zinedine Zidane was asked about coaching an Italian club soon and he did not decline the offer. “Training in Italy? Why not. Anything can happen, at the moment, I’m doing something else, but I’m sure I’ll come back to the bench, I’d love to.”he assured at the microphone of Sky Sports. An announcement that should tickle the presidents of Juventus, Naples and even AC Milan.
