One of Spalletti’s battles is to fight against the habits of the new generation. With a scourge in his eyes: video games. “You come to the national team to win the Euro, not to win Call of Duty,” exclaimed Spalletti in comments given to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nazionale coach then clarified his thoughts. “I talked about video games because there are things I don’t like. If modernity consists of playing the Playstation until 4 a.m. when there is a match the next day, then this modernity is not good”
