It’s quite a shock that we will be treated to this Sunday evening on the lawn of the Parc des Princes. Paris Saint-Germain actually welcomes Stade Rennais for this duel between two teams in rather good form at the moment. With ten points ahead of Brest and one match less than the sensation of the season, the Ile-de-France team already has a highway to the title. For its part, Rennes continues to climb the rankings and is now seventh, only a few points behind the Champions League positions.

The Armorican club is also on an impressive series of six victories in a row in the championship, even if it is true that in the middle of the week, there was this elimination against AC Milan despite a 3-2 success on the way back. The Rennais have also won their last three trips in the league, just as they had already won at the Parc last season (2-0). This season, PSG won the first confrontation played in Rennes in October (3-1).

A reunion for Dembélé and Kalimuendo

For this match, Luis Enrique has a few absentees in defense, like Marquinhos and the long-term injured Kimpembe and Skriniar, and Beraldo should therefore accompany Danilo in front of Donnarumma. On the sides, place for Lucas Hernandez and Hakimi. In the midfield, we will have this trio Ruiz-Vitinha-Zaire-Emery, who will have to serve an attack composed of Barcola, in form recently, of a Mbappé whose reception of the Park will be closely followed and a Dembélé who finds his training club.

Opposite, Julien Stéphan will rely on a 4-1-4-1 eleven, with the experienced Steve Mandanda in the cages. In front of him, a line of four made up of Truffert, Belocian, Omari and Seidu. Santamaria will be the metronome in the middle, with a Terrier-Doué-Bourigeaud-Gouiri quartet in front of him. Up front, Arnaud Kalimuendo will be the offensive reference and will be keen to hurt his former club.
