Paris snatched a draw against Rennes this Sunday during the 23rd day of L1 (1-1).

PSG beaten, without a goal scored… this is the unprecedented feat this season that Stade Rennais almost achieved this Sunday at the Parc des Princes. Until 97e minute, the Bretons held the three points in the capital… only giving up two in the last second, on a not-so-obvious penalty…

Strong in the duels and in good shape despite their exit against AC Milan three days earlier in the Europa League (3-2 victory), the Rennais knew how to shake up their hosts throughout the game, taking the advantage in the first period thanks to to a marvelous goal scored alone by Gouiri (0-1, 33e).

Mbappé leaves Ramos the beautiful role

After the hour of play, while his team was unable to come back to the score, Luis Enrique made the difficult decision to leave the field Mbappé (65e). For the benefit of Ramos who finally satisfied his family by obtaining the equalizer with forceps, from the penalty spot.

After a first penalty whistled in his favor but invalidated by video assistance (86e), the Portuguese had the VAR on his side in added time, after contact with Mandanda in the penalty area. Ramos did not need to be asked to transform the sentence, and equalize (1-1, 90e+7). An achievement on the wire which allows PSG to push Brest back to 11 points. Rennes, seventh, is one length behind Europe – five in the Top 4, synonymous with C1.
