Saint-Etienne got the better of Annecy this Saturday during the 26th day of L2 (2-0).

Thanks to Cardona (10^e) and Sissoko (41^e) in the first period, the Greens ensured their success of the day – the visitors having responded with a penalty at the end of the match, by Ntamack (87^e).

Thanks to this third victory in a row in the championship, the Stéphanois temporarily climbed onto the podium, under the noses of Laval and Grenoble.

The latter will have the opportunity to respond in the evening, in Concarneau and in front of Pau. In the meantime, ASSE asserts itself as a serious candidate for the promotion play-offs, open to the third, fourth and fifth in the championship.
