Although the exact duration of his absence has not been specified by the Madrid club, the Argentine coach insists that the return of number 7 of the Colchoneros will not be rushed.
Simeone doesn’t want to force
Asked about his regrets about not having previously given Griezmann some rest, Simeone responded in the negative. He said that Mâconnais will only return when he is recovered.
“We are not going to force Griezmann, he will come back when he is healthy. We are not going to force any player,” Cholo said at a press conference this Friday, the day before the match against Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.
