Real Madrid are still working on a deal for Kylian Mbappé, despite reports the contract had been signed earlier this week.
This is according to Fabrizio Romano, who also explained the processes to be put in place before the announcement. Although the majority of media outlets report that the ink is not necessarily on the paper, most agree that it is a matter of time before the “details” are worked out. It is believed that two of the sticking points remaining on the table could be his presence at the Olympics and his image rights.
“ There is no clarity on the announcement yet. I don’t have a specific date at the moment, they are still working on the details of the agreement and it will be announced as soon as they have signed, Romano told the Daily Briefing.
Attention, caution in the Mbappé file!
The famous journalist also published a video on his Twitter to inform his followers of the situation, explaining that once the agreement is signed with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain will officially confirm his departure to the public, although he will has already made to the press.
Overall, despite the caution displayed by a number of insiders on the subject, it appears that things are only heading in one direction, in a way that wasn’t the case before. The Blancps will likely offer Mbappé a five-year contract, accompanied by a salary and a signing bonus which will allow him to well exceed 200 million euros.
