Between 2012 and 2019, Eden Hazard had the best years of his career at Chelsea. The Belgian international, who ended his career at the end of last season, claims to have been regularly contacted by Paris Saint-Germain during this period.
“Paris was the only club to lobby every summer to sign me when I played at Chelsea. I always said that my club in France was Lille. I wasn’t planning on going to another club. I have always been clear with PSG. There was no question of joining them,” confided the native of La Louvière during a podcast with John Obi Mikel.

Eden Hazard could, however, have earned an even better living by joining the capital club. ” I like football. I love the fans, and when I say something, I keep my word. Money doesn’t come into play. As a reminder, Eden Hazard announced his retirement on October 10, at only 32 years old. Without a club since the end of his contract with Real Madrid, he justified his decision in a long message in which he specified that he “ you have to know how to listen to yourself and say stop at the right time.”
