If everything goes perfectly on the field, off it, he has just experienced a small mishap as reported by Corriere dello Sport. In fact, this morning, the player had a car accident in Empoli while he was driving his SUV, a Mercedes G-Class. The transalpine club reacted via a press release from its sporting director Pietro Accardi: “I would like to point out that our player M’Baye Niang immediately warned us of the mishap that occurred this morning. As a Club we know that since his arrival in Empoli, the boy usually goes out early in the morning and joins prayer groups with other practitioners of his religion. The footballer, recklessly returning home, collided with parked cars. M’Baye is doing well, all the tests carried out according to custom by the competent authorities gave totally negative results. This afternoon, the player will train regularly with Mr Nicola’s group to prepare for Saturday’s match against Sassuolo. This is not the first time that M’Baye Niang has had problems while driving. In 2012, he was arrested without a license when he was only 17 years old. He tried to get out of it by pretending to be his teammate Bakaye Traoré. In 2014, he destroyed his Ferrari when in 2016, he had already had another car accident.
