Real Madrid was held to a draw by Rayo Vallecano in Vallecas (1-1). Additionally, Real Madrid have lost Dani Carvajal and Eduardo Camavinga for next weekend’s match against Sevilla as they are both suspended.
Carlo Ancelotti was far from happy with the result, as he told the media in the post-match press conference (via Marca). “We are not happy with this draw. We were good until the penalty, our game changed after that and we got nervous. Playing here is always difficult. There were a lot of duels and fights. Rayo was good. We took a point, we are not satisfied. But maybe in the future it will be a good point.”
Ancelotti also dismissed any suggestion that his players would be affected by ongoing speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappé, who moved closer to joining Real Madrid this week.

Real Madrid will be hoping to bounce back against Sevilla, even if the absence of Carvajal and Camavinga is far from ideal for Ancelotti. Real Madrid had a disappointing afternoon on Sunday, being held to a 1-1 draw by Rayo Vallecano to Vallecas. The two players, Dani Carvajal and Eduardo Camavinga, are also out of next weekend’s match against Sevilla FC, due to their suspension.
