There was quite a spectacle this afternoon in Fribourg. Facing Eintracht Frankfurt as part of the 22nd day of the Bundesliga, Christian Streich’s players struggled to achieve a draw, at the end of a spectacular and long uncertain match (3-3). The Egyptian Omar Marmoush broke the deadlock for Frankfurt (0-1, 27th), before Ritsu Doan responded three minutes later (1-1, 30th).

In the process, the two teams offered us a copy and paste of this situation, first with the creation of the incoming Ansgar Knauff (1-2, 35th), preferred to Hugo Ekitike when replacing the injured Kaladzic a little more early, then Grifo’s response just before the break (2-2, 45+5th). In the second half, Knauff scored a double (2-3, 72nd), but the Austrian Michael Gregoritsh finally allowed Friborg to get back on track at the end of the match, for the third time in the game (3- 3, 90th). With this point in the draw and four days before hosting Lens in C3, Friborg is in 8th place in the Bundesliga standings. Frankfurt in the 6th.
