After the victory in Germany, Tchouameni admitted that PSG striker Kylian Mbappé was a topic of conversation in the locker room. The Parisian’s future continues to make headlines in France and Spain, with both clubs hanging on his decision.

Regarding the match against RB Leipzig, Tchouameni said he was satisfied with his performance in central defense. “In the end, we won, we created chances, we scored. I did a good performance. I spoke with the coach, I try to give everything, whatever the position. In Madrid, the most important thing is to win titles,” Tchouameni told Canal+, quoted by Marca.
Tchouaméni has played five matches in central defense this season and the Madrilenians have always kept a clean sheet. That said, Carlo Ancelotti and several other Madrid players admitted they were lucky not to concede a goal against the Germans. The Madrilenians thus had to rely on Andriy Lunin in goal to avoid conceding a goal against Leipzig.
