Former PSG midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo was not impressed by what Luis Enrique’s team showed against Lille.
For its last match before the resumption of the Champions League, PSG did the job on Saturday evening by dominating Lille (3-1). A success achieved without a hitch and giving the impression of mastering the debates.
This impression, however, is not shared by everyone. Vikash Dhorasoo, a veteran of the house, believes, for example, that it was an optical success. That Paris were less sovereign than we would like to believe.
Dhorasoo not reassured by Luis Enrique’s PSG
“I think we’re getting screwed a bit. Even we commentators or newspapers, he began by confiding on the Channel of L’Equipe. To say the day after the match (against Lille) that they did great pressing while Alexsandro, without pressing, made two crazy mistakes. PSG then finds itself at 2-1. Then they made it look like they were suffocating this team. When in fact, there was not a great physical level.”
The 2006 world vice-champion still believes that it should do so on Wednesday against Real Sociedad. “But they will win because it’s Real. If it was Real, City or Bayern I would have said something else. I’m not convinced that PSG can raise the level over 90 minutes, with strong pressing like Luis Enrique tries to do.
