A stunning Olympique Lyonnais. Trailing until the 74th minute of play, OL finally won at the Montpellier pitch with a score of 2 goals to 1.
Arnaud Nordin opened the scoring in the first half, before Alexandre Lacazette responded late in the match to equalize and Maxence Caqueret delivered the coup de grace a few minutes later to send Les Gones to seventh heaven.
This success in the money-time allows the Lyonnais to continue but above all to seize 13th position in Ligue 1 with a total of 22 points. Les Gones are only 3 points from 10th place.
On the other hand, it was a big disappointment for Montpellier who were leading the score and who had the match in hand. This setback does not help the situation of the MHSC which continues its negative spiral in the championship.
