Stade Rennais scored its seventh consecutive success by winning at Le Havre (0-1), and is preparing perfectly for its trip to Milan in the Europa League.

Looking forward to Thursday! A few days before this long-awaited trip to the Europa League in Milan, Stade Rennais negotiated the famous match before, winning at Le Havre (0-1) this Sunday afternoon.

The first half of the Bretons was sluggish, with a nice scare on a header from Arthur Theate on a Le Havre cross, where the Belgian international was close to beating his own goalkeeper. But Julien Stéphan’s team, still aligned in this flat 4-4-2 which works well, was able to accelerate after returning from the locker room. After a shot from Arnaud Kalimuendo deflected off the bar (49th), it was Benjamin Bourigeaud who scored the only goal of the match (0-1, 60th).

Head to San Siro!

Steve Mandanda had to work hard at the end of the match on the Le Havre push, but this will prepare the Rennais to suffer, before going to San Siro. In the meantime, the Rouge et Noir have a seventh consecutive victory in all competitions, and continue their climb up the rankings, where they are… seventh.

The other impressive figure is that of the 8 to 10,000 supporters who will travel to Milan this week. It’s definitely a good time for Stade Rennais.
