Farès Chaïbi has had a turbulent last 10 months. Winner of the Coupe de France with his training club Toulouse in April, recruited by Frankfurt at the same time, the Algerian has also released his new status as an international player with the Fennecs in the meantime. Without any real surprise, Djamel Belmadi then summoned him for a meeting not to be missed: the CAN. Ultimately, the experience turned sour with an elimination in the group phase. “It was a big disappointment. Expectations and resulting pressure are still very high in Algeriajudges the former Toulouse resident. But I have experienced this and am now preparing for the next matches here with Eintracht. From my point of view, we were well prepared for the tournament and the climate because we had already gotten used to it during the training camp. The tournament was also very well organized.
