Arriving at Paris Saint-Germain in the winter transfer window from Sao Paulo FC for the sum of 20 million euros, Lucas Beraldo is gradually integrating into Luis Enrique’s squad and playing one match after another.

The young Brazilian gains more and more self-confidence when he is lined up on the pitch by his coach.

During an interview with the media Free Ligue 1, the 20-year-old defender spoke about his habits before playing a match. The left-hander revealed his tic to be efficient and serene on the field.

“They call me the Joker because I burst out laughing before every match! It’s mental work that I do to enter the match more confidently and to have a better performance,” did he declare.

Starting this Saturday against LOSC?

This Saturday evening, Paris Saint-Germain faces Lille OSC at the Parc des Princes as part of the 21st day of Ligue 1. A meeting which promises to be undecided and which Lucas Beraldo could start. Started this Wednesday in the Coupe de France against Stade Brestois (3-1 victory), the Brazilian had a serious match in the left lane of the Parisian defense.

A performance which allowed him to score points with Luis Enrique and which could allow him to experience a new start this weekend. And why not also in the Champions League this Wednesday against Real Sociedad. To be continued…
