Barça’s Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski, has definitively resolved the question of his future.
Robert Lewandowski has hinted he plans to stay at Barcelona next season.
The Polish striker signed a contract with Barça until 2026. And it is a commitment that he intends to honor. He told Sport: “Of course, one of my goals is to play at Camp Nou again because it’s a magical stadium, a magical pitch. Yes, of course, I still want to play it, but we have to wait another 10 months.”
The former Bayern player also assured that he felt very good in the Catalan capital: “I think I’m very happy in the city, my family is doing well, we’re very happy. I may only be happy with my stuff, but the rest is fine too. »
Lewandowski still believes in Xavi
Regarding Xavi’s resignation, Lewandowski said : “Being a coach or a player at Barcelona means knowing how to withstand a lot of pressure, that’s normal, and the team or club is going through a more difficult time than before, with a squad made up of very young players. Expectations are always very high.”
“I understand what all this means for him: he comes from Barça, he was a player and now he is a coach. From an emotional point of view, it is very difficult to fully understand, not only for him, but also for his family. That’s why he asks everyone to focus on this season, because with Xavi we can still win, not just matches… I’m 100% focused on this season. I’m focusing 100% on this season.”added Lewandowski.
