The frustration of players newly arrived at Chelsea is a worrying sign which could further weaken the team and its coach. Mauricio Pochettino.

The adventure turns into a nightmare for Chelsea. After having injected more than a billion euros into the transfer window since the arrival of Todd Boehly, the London club finds itself stuck in 11th place in the Premier League, 15 points behind the Big Four.

A record unworthy of the ambitions displayed and which is starting to make people cringe, especially among newly arrived players. According to The Athleticsome bitterly regret the duration of their contract and would have made it known privately.

Their main complaint? A sporting project which in no way corresponds to the reality on the ground. The ambition and vision promised when they signed collided with the harsh reality of their manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plan.

The English media mention Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Nicolas Jackson, all under contract with the Blues until 2031, as being among those most affected by this disappointment. He also notes that nine other players, whose contracts expire in 2030, are added to the list of disappointed.

Long contracts which weigh heavily and which symbolize the impasse in which the 2021 European champion finds itself. The residents of Stamford Bridge find themselves stuck in a negative spiral, with a bloated workforce but which does not seem to be working.

Despite this, Chelsea must find solutions to emerge from this crisis and get back on the path to success. The task promises to be arduous, but it is essential to save the season and hope for a better tomorrow.
