William Carvalho (31 years old) would be accused of sexual assault. According to information from several Spanish media, confirmed by the Portuguese public group RTVE, the Portuguese international (80 caps) would be summoned this Tuesday morning by the investigating court number 9 in Seville for questioning. The complaint was apparently filed by a young woman with whom he had a relationship last August, in Seville.

The Real Betis midfielder reportedly spent the entire evening with the alleged victim, who woke up with traces of injuries and without remembering exactly what had happened. The victim accuses him of raping and drugging her. She also claims that the footballer held her tightly by the neck and forced her to have sex. The hotel’s surveillance cameras reportedly recorded the player and the alleged victim going up to the room. For the moment, neither William Carvalho nor Betis have reacted to the information that appeared this Monday evening, while the court indicated “keep the procedure open”.
