A man shouting “go OM”, in a shuttle between the Décines stadium and Part-Dieu Villette, was hit by several OL supporters as he got off the tram.

Sunday evening, Olympique Lyonnais won the clash of the twentieth day of Ligue 1 by beating Olympique de Marseille (1-0) at home. A victory allowing the Rhone club to move away from the red zone, while its rival Marseille plunges into crisis.

On the sidelines of this “Olympic”, a Marseille supporter was attacked on the Lyon tramway, in the Part-Dieu district (3rd arrondissement). According to Progress, this 30-year-old man shouted “Go OM” in a tram train which was bringing supporters back from Groupama Stadium. Under his jacket, he wore a jersey from the South of France club. Police officers were alerted by witnesses and quickly went to the scene. A 27-year-old man was arrested. The victim, whose shoulder was dislocated, was hospitalized.

By decree of the Minister of the Interior, Marseille supporters were banned from traveling for this Ligue 1 clash. The cause was “a real and serious risk of clashes between supporters of the two clubs”.
