Real Madrid’s French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga left the Madrid derby with knee pain.

Real Madrid may have regrets. While they had control of the Madrid derby against Atlético, Sunday evening on the occasion of the 23rd day of La Liga, the Merengue were joined at the very end of the match, thus conceding a draw in front of their supporters (1-1). One hard blow followed by another…

Author of a great performance in the midfield, Eduardo Camavinga left the pitch of the Santiago Bernabéu at the end of the match holding one knee. “I don’t know what’s wrong with Camavinga, they haven’t told me anything, I think it’s a blow to the knee,” declared Carlo Ancelotti in a post-match press conference.

Relapse or simple stroke?

Not enough to reassure Madrid fans, especially since the French international seemed to be suffering from same knee which kept him sidelined for almost two months and which has been bothering him for some time, noted the daily Marca.

But clearly, it was only a blow, the former Rennes player having taken part in this Monday’s training session. Good news for Carlo Ancelotti, who has had to deal with many players absent due to injury since the start of the season.
