Continuation of the 23rd day of Serie A this Sunday evening. Before the legendary Derby d’Italia, another great show took place in Italy. Atalanta hosted Lazio on the Gewiss Stadium pitch. While the Dea quickly raised the tone, Mario Pašalić was able to find the gap to open the scoring (16th). Building on their domination, Atalanta even doubled the lead before the break with a goal from Charles De Ketelaere on a penalty (43rd). In the second act, the Belgian even scored twice to secure a large victory (3-1) in style against the Biancocelesti, while Ciro Immobile reduced the score on a penalty (84th).

In the standings, Atalanta remains in a good position in the Italian championship with this fine 4th position, while Lazio is still struggling to climb back into the upper echelons of Serie A with a sad 9th position. Next weekend, the Lombards will play away against Genoa, while the Laziali will cross swords at home with Cagliari, during the 24th day of the championship.
