A 1-0 victory at the Meazza against Juventus on Sunday evening, and Inter Milan take a four-point lead over the Old Lady at the top of Serie A (with a game in hand).

Best team in Serie A in the game, Inter Milan resisted their runner-up, Juventus, to win 1-0 and take four points ahead of the Bianconeri, Sunday evening, as part of the 23rd day of the championship. Simone Inzaghi’s men are off to a very good start in the title race as they also have a game in hand (against Atalanta in a month).

A single goal scored against his camp, before half-time (37th), was enough for the Nerazzurri. On a cross from the right, Benjamin Pavard attempted an incredible recovery but missed the ball, then Federico Gatti, fighting with Marcus Thuram, sent the ball into the back of his own net. Enough to make the Giuseppe Meazza audience explode.

Adrien Rabiot’s Old Lady, with a catastrophic Dusan Vlahovic-Kenan Yildiz offensive duo, failed to equalize. Federico Chiesa was launched in the 66th minute. In vain.

Inter will have to continue against Roma next week, while Juve will host Udinese to try to revive.
