The first Bundesliga match of the afternoon pitted Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim in a mid-table duel. A duel of teams that have difficulty winning above all. Hoffenheim led the score for a long time thanks to an express goal from Maximilian Beier (6th). After the break, Niko Kovac tried to get his team to react with three changes. The Wölfe club wasted no time with a goal from former Rennes player Lovro Majer (52nd), who came on just three minutes earlier. The joy was, however, short-lived as the visitors managed to regain the lead.
