BL: Leverkusen keeps the lead, Bayern keeps pace

This Saturday, the twentieth day of the Bundesliga offered us some interesting duels. The leader, Bayer Leverkusen, moved to the pitch of the red lantern Darmstadt. Xabi Alonso’s team bounced back well a week after their draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach and won 2-0 following a double from Nathan Tella (33rd and 52nd). The Werkself remains two points ahead of Bayern Munich.

The Record Master had more difficulty against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Trailing following a goal from Nice Elvedi, Thomas Tuchel’s team reversed the situation via Aleksander Pavlovic (45th), Harry Kane (70th) and Matthijs De Ligt. A 3-1 victory which allows Bayern Munich to keep in touch. The podium is completed by Stuttgart who consolidated their position following a 3-1 victory against Freiburg after goals from Deniz Undav (3rd), Chris Führich (7th) and Maximilian Mittelstadt (74th). Finally Bochum and Augsburg shared the points (1-1) when Werder Bremen dominated Mainz (1-0).
