Just before the end of the transfer window, PSG struck a very nice blow by strengthening themselves behind.

PSG was not idle on the last day of the transfer window. The capital club managed to complete a very last transfer just before the market closed. And it’s a move that no one saw coming.

Competition for the PSG goalkeeper position

The transfer in question occurred within the women’s section and not the men’s. The club went for Polish goalkeeper Oliwia Szperkowska. She arrives from KKS Czarni Sosnowiec and her contract runs until 2026.

In Paris, and to facilitate her adaptation, Oliwia Szperkowska will be able to count on the presence of her compatriot Katarzyna Kiedrzynek.

Given that she is still young and without international experience (0 caps), Szperkowska is not likely to dislodge the incumbent Constance Picaud in the immediate future. But, she might do it in the future.

The reinforcement is still interesting. And it is not the coach Gérard Prêcheur who will complain about it given the numerous deadlines which await his team in this second part of the season.
