Olympique Lyonnais completed its winter transfer window with a major operation.
It was announced, it is now official: Orel Mangala is a player for Olympique Lyonnais. The Rhone club has formalized the arrival of the Belgian international midfielder in the form of a paid loan with an option to buy, from Nottingham Forest.

This paying loan of £10M (approximately €11.7M) comes with a purchase option of £15M (approximately €17.5M) to which a maximum of £3M in bonuses can be added. (around €3.5M) as well as a 10% profit-sharing on the added value of a possible future transfer. »
“ Born in 1998 in Brussels, Orel Mangala began his training at Anderlecht before joining Stuttgart in 2017 where he stayed for 5 years, notably contributing to VfB’s rise to the Bundesliga in 2019/20, his most accomplished season with the Ruhr club. In 2022, after having accumulated more than 100 appearances with Stuttgart, the midfielder transferred to Nottingham Forrest where he shined for 18 months, playing 53 matches with the English club.
