Injured since last August, Thibaut Courtois could soon make his return to competition.
Victim of a cruciate ligament rupture last August, Thibaut Courtois continues his rehabilitation. And this one is obviously going rather well. According to El Partidazo de COPE, the Belgian goalkeeper should return in a few weeks.
If all goes well, Courtois should be restored for a possible Champions League quarter-final. As a reminder, the Merengue will face Leipzig in the round of 16, while the quarter-finals are scheduled for April 9 and 10.
At the very end of the summer transfer window, Kepa Arrizabalaga arrived urgently at Casa Blanca, in the form of a loan, to compensate for the serious injury of the Red Devil. The Spanish goalkeeper, however, did not convince and was also injured, which prompted Carlo Ancelotti to call on Andriy Lunin.
