Vitinha, disaster!

Under fire from critics, Vitinha has the worst goal/minute ratio for a striker in the McCourt era.

It was with his head down that Vitinha left the pitch at the Vélodrome stadium on Saturday evening, after the draw between OM and AS Monaco (2-2). It must be said that at the very end of added time, the Portuguese stood out with a huge miss alone in front of the Monegasque cage. A failure which did not help his case with the Olympian supporters.

Bought last winter for 30 million euros, the most expensive recruitment in the history of the Marseille club, Vitinha struggles to justify the amount of his transfer. And the statistics prove it. The former Braga man is simply ” the worst “ forward of the McCourt era, according to the figures deglued by Provence.

Vitinha does worse than Germain and Benedetto

Since 2016, Vitinha has had the worst goal/minute ratio for a center forward with one goal every 321 minutes. In this little game, Mario Balotelli is in the lead, with a goal every 118 minutes. The Italian is ahead of Arkadiusz Milik (126) and Luis Suarez (134). We then find Gomis, Aubameyang, Mitroglou, Dieng, Alexis Sanchez, Bakambu, Dario Benedetto (249) and Valère Germain (292).
