Like Jesé Rodriguez, Islam Slimani could see his Brazilian adventure cut short. Arriving in Coritiba this summer after the end of his experience at Anderlecht, the Algerian international is making people cringe with his behavior at the club. The reason ? A new false leap. Eliminated from the CAN in the group phase with Algeria, the 35-year-old striker was in fact expected immediately to train with his club.

However, according to Globoesporte, the former Monaco player did not respond to the call. Unreachable, the player would have aroused the anger of his managers, who would now like to terminate his contract. Recently relegated to the Brazilian Serie B, Coritiba, through its president, had indicated that it wanted to continue with committed players. It will certainly be without Slimani.
