Asian Cup: Australia in the quarter-finals

First qualified for the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup, Australia defeated Indonesia this Sunday.

The Oceanians logically won with a score of 4-0, thanks to a csc from Baggott (12e) and goals from Boyle (45th), Goodwin (89th) and Souttar (90th+2).

The Socceroos now face the survivor of the clash between Saudi Arabia and South Korea for a place in the semi-final.

Invited to the Asian Cup since 2007, the Australians have always been at least quarter-finalists. They were crowned in 2015 and unfortunate finalists against Japan in 2011.
