Less than a week after its painful victory against Udinese, AC Milan hosted Bologna for the 22nd day of Serie A. At the end of a match full of twists and turns, the Lombards were hooked by the Rossoblu (2-2). Picked cold by Zirkzee’s opener (29th), Olivier Giroud’s partners were able to react before the break. If the Frenchman missed the equalizer in the 42nd minute, Ruben Loftus-Cheek was able to adjust the sights to deceive Lukasz Skorupski (45th).

Returning from the locker room, Théo Hernandez imitated his teammate in the French team by in turn missing a penalty on the sidelines of the last quarter of an hour (74th) before the Englishman scored twice (83rd) to put the his people on the right track. At a time when AC Milan was heading towards another victory, Riccardo Orsolini came to cool San Siro in added time (90th + 2). With this result, the Milanese team can harbor regrets since they miss the opportunity to temporarily come back to two points behind Inter Milan, who have two games in hand. Opposite, Bologna gained one place and ranks 7th.
