Real Madrid have been named the world’s top-grossing football club for the 2022-23 season by Deloitte’s Sports Business Group, replacing Manchester City at the top of the list.
The Deloitte Football Money League is in its 27th year of analyzing the highest revenue-generating football clubs in the world, and has reported that these clubs earned a record €10.5 billion for the 2022 season. -23, an increase of 14% compared to the previous year.
PSG makes a comeback
The Madrilenians, who topped the index five years ago, recorded a record figure of 831 million euros for last season, 118 million euros more than the previous year. Liverpool were the biggest loser on the list, falling from third to seventh place, due to a decline in results in domestic and European competitions.
