Former Olympique de Marseille player, Djibril Cissé opened the box of memories in an interview with 1899 l’Hebdo.
“He was, very, very talented!” »
“ The one we talked about the least because he was quiet. Technically, he was very, very talented! He was effective in front of goal. I have rarely seen a player as technical as him! We had a complementary game. He was technical, I liked the depth, we got along well. »
Classy and elegant, Mickaël Pagis was renowned for his technical quality. Pagit and Cissé met during the 2006-2007 season.
He left an indelible mark in the clubs he frequented. From AJ Auxerre to Panathinaikos, via Liverpool and Sunderland, Djibril Cissé has stacked goals like pearls with his whimsical style, his speed and his powerful ball strike. The former French international also represented his childhood club, Olympique de Marseille. In an interview with 1899 l’Hebdo, Cissé looked back on his time with the Marseille club. The ex-goleador was notably invited to cite the name of the player who had impressed him the most on a technical level: Mickaël Pagis. It is not the supporters of OM who will contradict him.
