Almost eliminated from the African Cup of Nations after their incredible draw against Mozambique (2-2) on Monday evening, the Ghanaian players were booed by their country’s journalists as they left the stadium!

After a double from Jordan Ayew (15th and 70th), Ghana achieved the feat of conceding two goals in added time, in the 91st and 94th minute (by former Lille player Reinildo Mandava), to record a second result draw at the African Cup of Nations. The Black Stars having lost against Cape Verde, they have almost no chance of finishing among the four best third places in groups and are therefore waiting to leave Ivory Coast.

The players of Irishman Chris Hughton did not stop in front of the journalists in the mixed zone (the corridor leading to the exit of the stadium) and certain media representatives then booed the passage of the players, the security service even objecting to certain Ghanaian reporters who are too vindictive, as shown in a video by journalist Micky Jnr.

In addition to the “two Pelés” (including André Ayew who will certainly bow out of the selection, at 34), Ghana is led in this CAN by Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, Salis Abdul Samed, Mohammed Kudus, Iñaki Williams or Antoine Semenyo. OL striker Ernest Nuamah didn’t even come on as a substitute in the last two matches!
