Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma could yet leave Premier League club Everton before the end of the January transfer window.
The Netherlands international has had a mixed 12 months since choosing to leave Castellon on loan to join Tottenham in January 2023. The decision to take him to north London was made in strange circumstances, after he agreed to joining Everton for the second half of the 2022/23 campaign, before Spurs swooped in to secure a last-minute deal.
Depay advises his compatriot
Everton manager Sean Dyche has previously insisted he is not looking to offload Danjuma this month, despite rumors of a bid from Lyon, but the links are still news. According to information from French journalist Santi Aouna, via Foot Mercato, Lyon still hopes to convince Villarreal and Everton to facilitate a transfer until the end of the season.
Atletico Madrid striker Memphis Depay has reportedly advised Danjuma to join his former team in France, with both players expected to link up for the Netherlands at Euro 2024.
