Eager to return to play in France, Florian Thauvin dreams of returning to OM. The French international proclaimed it loud and clear.
After a complicated stint with the Tigres de Monterrey, Florian Thauvin tried to relaunch his career at Udinese. But since the start of the season, the 2018 world champion has been little used by his coach and could easily see himself looking elsewhere. During an interview with the media Squarethe former Marseillais reiterated his desire to return to play in France.
“I miss Ligue 1. I love France, I love Ligue 1. It’s a championship in which I played for many years and in which I performed well.”said Flotov, and added: “I would like to return to Ligue 1 but if it has to involve another championship, I will do what it takes to get back to the top. I think everyone knows my attachment to OM and what it means to me. I spent fantastic years there. Afterwards it doesn’t just depend on me either, the coach (Gennaro Gattuso) has wishes, the president (Pablo Longoria) has wishes. »
